In August, a group of 40 young people, aged 16 to 18 years old met in Vienna during an annual activity called EUROCAMP. This year the topic discussed was the Refugees. The participants learnt a lot through various workshops and games about the journey of refugees and the challenges or difficulties they face in their everyday lives. As a hands-on activity, participants from 10 different European countries, wrote a letter of hope to a group of Syrian refugees in Lebanon. They also exchanged their contact details in the letters for further contact. They are grateful for this opportunity and are willing to share what they have learnt with their families and friends.
This workshop was provided by Maria Zammit.
Keen International delivered and translated those letters...
